The nonprofit organization Hope Sharing People (Chairman Kim Jeong-an) announced on the 14th that it has sponsored the Didim Seed Bank scholarship, an asset-building support project to help children and adolescents at the Busan Single-Parent Family Center prepare initial funds for social advancement.
Through this scholarship award ceremony, 20 children and adolescents from single-parent families will receive Didim Seed scholarships of 50,000 KRW per month for one year, totaling 12 million KRW. The scholarships are funded by donations from SK Corporation and Hope Sharing People and are provided through the Community Chest of Korea.
Lee Im-jo, CEO of the Busan Single-Parent Family Center, said, “We thank SK Corporation and the nonprofit Hope Sharing People for sharing love and generosity with disadvantaged children and adolescents in the region. We will do our best to help our children grow up bright and healthy so they can achieve their dreams and hopes.”
Hope Sharing People (Chairman Kim Jeong-an) is a social welfare foundation that supports low-income vulnerable children and adolescents to have dreams and hopes and grow into upright talents in our society.
