Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, attended the 'Anyangcheon Loess Path Walking Event' held on the afternoon of the 14th at the Anyangcheon embankment trail in Yangpyeong 1-dong, walking the loess path together with local residents.
About 200 local residents, including Mayor Choi Ho-kwon, participated in this event to join the barefoot walking culture. The district organized various side events such as loess pack experiences, loess dyeing experiences, and quiz events to add fun to the event.
Last year, the district created a 600-meter-long loess path along the Anyangcheon embankment trail and extended it by 450 meters this year, establishing a total of 1,050 meters of barefoot loess path, leading efforts to provide residents with a pleasant and healthy living environment.
Mayor Choi Ho-kwon of Yeongdeungpo District said, “I hope everyone takes time to become one with nature while walking the Anyangcheon barefoot loess path in the cool autumn breeze,” and added, “We will do our best to maintain and manage the Anyangcheon barefoot loess path so that it becomes a representative wellness sanctuary and a space that offers rest and healing to residents.”
