Kim Yo-jong, Vice Director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party and sister of North Korean State Affairs Commission Chairman Kim Jong-un, claimed on the 14th, "We clearly know that the main culprits of the Pyongyang drone incident are the South Korean military trash."

In a statement released through the Korean Central News Agency on the same day, Kim Yo-jong harshly criticized both South Korea and the United States, saying, "If the sovereignty of a nuclear-armed country was violated by mongrels trained by the American bastards, then the owner who raised those mutts must take responsibility."

This statement appears to have been issued in response to the South Korean Ministry of National Defense's remark the previous day that North Korea "has not even identified the party responsible for the 'Pyongyang drone leaflet (flyer) distribution'."

Earlier, in a statement on the 12th, Kim Yo-jong suggested that the party responsible for the drone incident might be civilians, saying, "If the military could not even properly identify drones sent by civilian organizations crossing the border at will, it is clearly a problem."

However, on this day, Kim Yo-jong asserted that the South Korean military was behind the drone incident but did not provide any specific evidence to support this claim.

The South Korean Ministry of National Defense maintains its position of "not confirming" whether the military sent drones to Pyongyang. This is seen as an attempt to cause confusion in North Korea's response and actions by not verifying any facts regarding North Korea's claims.
