Han Sung Clean Tech recorded a limit-up.
On the 14th, Han Sung Clean Tech closed the market at 2,320 KRW, up 29.83% (533 KRW) from the previous trading day.
The day before, Korea Water Resources Corporation and SK Hynix announced that they had signed the "Basic Agreement on Operation and Management of SK Hynix Water Supply Facilities and Integrated Water Supply" to achieve technological independence in ultrapure water and promote the water industry. This is interpreted as having influenced the stock price of Han Sung Clean Tech, which is carrying out a national project for the localization of ultrapure water and holds related patented technologies.
Han Sung Clean Tech is a company specializing in ultrapure and industrial water treatment, and in June 2021, it was selected as a target company for the Ministry of Environment's national project for ultrapure water localization and is currently carrying out the project. Using purely domestic technology, it completed the design and construction of the first phase of localized facilities and successfully supplied ultrapure water to the SK Siltron semiconductor raw material (Wafer) process. Currently, the second phase demonstration plant of the national project, aiming for localization of equipment, is also underway.
Based on this, at the end of 2022, Han Sung Clean Tech secured orders worth 83.6 billion KRW from SK Siltron for large-capacity ultrapure water manufacturing facilities, covering everything from design to equipment procurement and construction, surpassing Japanese companies.
Additionally, Han Sung Clean Tech was the only company in the environmental field to be selected for the "Top 100 National R&D Excellent Achievements of 2023" by the Ministry of Science and ICT for its "Ultrapure Water Localization Technology."
