Scholarships Awarded to 22 Junior Students... Distributed Annually on School Foundation Day
The Dong-Eui University Staff Alumni Association (President: Koo Seonghoe) donated 16.5 million KRW to the university development fund at the president's office on the 2nd floor of the main building on the 11th.
The Staff Alumni Association has been raising funds among its members to support scholarships for junior students and has been delivering these as development funds to the university. This year, they plan to award 16.5 million KRW in scholarships to 22 junior students on the university's anniversary, which is the 22nd.
Formed in 1996 and providing scholarships annually since 2002, the Staff Alumni Association has so far awarded scholarships totaling approximately 320 million KRW to 324 students and donated 47 million KRW in development funds to improve the educational environment.
President Han Suhwan expressed his gratitude, saying, "I appreciate the dedication of the alumni staff for their alma mater," and added, "I hope the students who receive these scholarships will understand the profound intentions of their seniors and grow into exemplary members of society."
