Real-time Detection and Response Support for Unauthorized Intrusion and Falls Using AI CCTV
SK Shieldus announced on the 14th that it will introduce artificial intelligence (AI) security services to enhance the safety of screen golf facilities within apartment community spaces in collaboration with GTS Golf.
GTS Golf is a screen golf specialist company supplying its self-developed golf simulators to over 2,000 locations nationwide. It provides personal golf simulators to enable easy enjoyment of screen golf in various spaces such as apartment resident facilities, public institutions, educational institutions, and companies.
Demand for screen golf is steadily increasing, but safety issues are emerging as unexpected accidents such as irregular ball strikes frequently occur. Moreover, since many apartment community facilities operate unmanned, facility safety has become essential.

Through this collaboration, SK Shieldus will provide ADT Caps’ physical security services including AI CCTV, access security, and smart heating and cooling to facilities adopting GTS Golf’s golf simulators, thereby strengthening the safety of screen golf venues.
First, AI-based CCTV will be provided to enhance facility safety. ADT Caps’ AI CCTV detects real-time movements inside and outside the premises such as unauthorized entry, loitering, falls, and prolonged stays, including management of restricted areas, and sends alerts via an app. Equipped with a 5-megapixel ultra-high-definition camera, it delivers clear images 24 hours a day regardless of day or night.
Additionally, if abnormal signals such as door openings or power outages occur, ADT Caps security personnel stationed nearby on a 24-hour standby will respond immediately, and in emergency situations, they will cooperate promptly with related agencies such as police stations and fire departments to minimize damage. A customized access security system will also be established to maximize facility management synergy by improving convenience in switching between manned and unmanned operations and enhancing facility operation efficiency.
There are also plans to improve the energy efficiency of screen golf facilities by implementing the ADT Caps smart heating and cooling system. The smart heating and cooling system uses AI-based Internet of Things (IoT) devices installed inside the building to collect air quality data in real time and analyze usage patterns to automatically maintain optimal temperature and humidity.
Jang Woong-jun, head of SK Shieldus’s Physical Security Division, said, “We decided to build ADT Caps’ AI security services capable of detecting unauthorized entry and falls in apartment community screen golf facilities so that indoor sports can be enjoyed safely and comfortably,” adding, “We will continue to develop customized AI-based security technologies and services to support the safety of various types of facilities.”
