The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province will hold the "2024 16th Senior Job Fair" at Hwaseong Haenggung Square on the 22nd of this month.
Hosted by the Suwon Senior Private Employment Support Council and organized by the Suwon Senior Club, the Senior Job Fair is a job expo for seniors aged 60 and over residing in Suwon.
More than 18 companies in fields such as security, cleaning, cooking, and kitchen assistance will participate to hire about 30 people.
Recruiting companies will conduct on-site interviews and hire directly, or the Suwon Senior Club and four district branches of the Korea Senior Citizens Association will receive resumes and arrange interview schedules later.
There will be integrated interview booths, company direct interview booths, as well as special booths such as recruitment booths for nursing institutions and facilities, and senior job promotion booths.
Employment support services such as senior job counseling, resume writing assistance, business card photo shooting and printing will also be provided.
A Suwon city official stated, "We will connect private companies with seniors seeking jobs to discover niche job opportunities," adding, "We hope private companies can resolve their recruitment difficulties and seniors can enjoy a vibrant and stable retirement life."
