Kim Yeon-gyun, Chairman of the Uijeongbu City Council in Gyeonggi Province, attended the opening ceremony of the "18th Gyeonggi-do Disabled Sports for All Competition" held at Seongnam Sports Complex on the 11th, cheering and encouraging the athletes representing Uijeongbu City.
According to the Uijeongbu City Council on the 13th, this competition was hosted by the Gyeonggi-do Disabled Sports Association, with a total of 171 participants from Uijeongbu City, including athletes and guardians, competing in 12 events.
Chairman Kim Yeon-gyun delivered a message of support, saying, "Your efforts and passion have already given us great inspiration. Please do your best until the end and enjoy the competition in good health."
Meanwhile, the 18th Gyeonggi-do Disabled Sports for All Competition took place over two days from the 11th to the 12th across Seongnam City, with about 2,100 athletes from 31 cities and counties in Gyeonggi-do participating in 20 events such as gateball, basketball, and billiards, engaging in friendly competition.
