Yu Bibim, known as the 'Bibim King' who appeared on the popular variety show 'Black and White Chef,' gained attention for recommending other restaurants to customers visiting his store.
On the 8th, Yu uploaded a video titled "Please Refer to This When You Come to Bibim" on his YouTube channel 'Yu Jong Daewang Yu Bibim.' He began by saying, "I deeply thank everyone who supports the Bibim King and has traveled all the way to Jeonju's 'Bibim Sori' to show their interest and love," adding, "We are not an extraordinary restaurant. We are an ordinary bibimbap place striving to serve warm food filled with bibim philosophy."
He continued, "After the broadcast, Bibim Sori received unexpected explosive interest and love, but we were not fully prepared to welcome so many customers," and apologized, saying, "We were overwhelmed by the sudden influx of customers, resulting in inadequate service. We sincerely apologize for causing discomfort during your meal." Yu further explained, "Since then, we have improved our system by setting up some outdoor dining areas as waiting seats and made changes to allow customers to dine more comfortably. However, due to the limited number of tables, many people still have to wait to eat, and we are always sorry for that." He asked for understanding, saying, "The waiting time may be longer, but this is to do our best for those enjoying their meals." Additionally, he attached a list titled 'Yu Bibim Recommended Restaurants' featuring nearby eateries, saying, "For those pressed for time, all places in Jeonju are good restaurants, so please refer to this and enjoy delicious and lively bibim dishes in the culinary capital Jeonju."

Meanwhile, Yu made a strong impression appearing as 'Bibim King' on Netflix's 'Black and White Chef.' He loves bibimbap and became so fascinated with the principles of bibim cooking that he legally changed his name to 'Yu Bibim.' Moreover, he set a condition of gifting a car to his son, requiring him to change his name to 'Yu Yung Hap.'
