Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced that it will hold the "2024 Geumcheon-gu Job Fair Toward My Job" at 1 PM on October 17th in the large auditorium on the 12th floor of Geumcheon-gu Office.

The event is hosted by Geumcheon-gu and organized by four related institutions: the Seoul Gwanak Employment Welfare Plus Center of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Seoul Western Middle-aged Tomorrow Center of the Korea Labor Foundation, the Seoul Southern Women's Development Center, and the Geumcheon 50 Plus Center.

This job fair will feature 25 companies from various industries located in Geumcheon-gu and neighboring districts. Especially this year, a special recruitment zone for the Information Technology (IT) sector will be operated to assist companies hiring in the information and communication industry and to expand employment opportunities for job seekers.

To help job seekers find employment, various side events will also be held. The "Company Recruitment Hall," where about 20 companies inside and outside Geumcheon-gu will conduct job interviews, and the "Institution Promotion Hall," which provides employment support services such as job counseling and employment program guidance, will be operated.

Additionally, at the "Side Event Hall," visitors can experience AI interview simulations and receive free personalized color diagnosis, beauty services (hair and makeup), and resume photo shooting. Those who visit three or more experience halls and collect stamps can also participate in a roulette wheel event.

The venue will minimize the use of disposable products and practice carbon neutrality by using eco-friendly promotional materials and event items. Additionally, participants who complete the survey will receive a pedometer, eco-friendly bag (eco bag), and reusable cup (reusable tumbler).

Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, stated, "Following last year, we have prepared a place where local companies and young and middle-aged job seekers can meet face-to-face," and added, "We hope residents interested will participate in the job fair to find jobs or gain useful information."

Meanwhile, after the event, the district plans to provide various job support programs to resolve employment difficulties by offering customized job information and job and entrepreneurship retraining through the Geumcheon-gu Job Center for job seekers.
