On the afternoon of the 10th, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the completion ceremony of Bulamsan Picnic Area located within Bulamsan Healing Town (around San 101-6, Junggye-dong).
The Bulamsan Picnic Area was created so that residents can enjoy leisure and relaxation while experiencing nature within the city. Covering an area of 2,500㎡, about 670㎡ of the lawn yard is planted with soft natural grass, and convenience facilities such as five Indian tents, 14 pyeongsang (raised wooden platforms), and eight outdoor tables are provided for visitors to use comfortably.
Additionally, emotional parasols, camping tables, and chairs are installed to enhance the picnic atmosphere. Various emotional props such as waterproof mats and rattan baskets are also available for free rental.
Moreover, a photo zone utilizing one caravan has been set up, allowing visitors to create precious memories with family, lovers, and friends.
The completion ceremony was attended by about 150 people, including Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, city and district council members, and local residents. The event proceeded in the order of ▲opening ▲progress report ▲presentation of appreciation plaques ▲congratulatory speeches ▲cutting ceremony ▲facility tour.
Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, said, “The Bulamsan Picnic Area was created to provide residents with a new space for leisure and relaxation,” and added, “Through this new healing space, I hope more people will share the beauty of Bulamsan, a precious natural asset of Nowon District, and enjoy a prosperous life.”
