First Silver Medal in Mixed Doubles Badminton at Pre-Game Match
The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 10th that 471 student athletes from 68 schools will participate in the "105th National Sports Festival."
At this National Sports Festival, held from the 11th to the 17th across Gyeongsangnam-do, the Jeonnam student athletes competing in 43 events are expecting top placements in ▲track and field ▲wrestling ▲cycling ▲archery, among others. In particular, the women's soccer team is aiming for a consecutive second championship at the event.

On the 8th, in the mixed doubles badminton preliminary match, Yu Hyunbin from Jeonnam Technical Science High School and Yeon Seoyeon from Hwasun High School won a valuable silver medal, bringing the first medal to Jeonnam.
The Office of Education operated programs such as annual training expense support, sports psychology support for student athletes, and integrity consulting for school sports teams starting in early March to improve the performance of student athletes participating in the competition. Additionally, they plan to develop and provide programs for the career and academic advancement of student athletes.
Park Jaehyun, Director of the Department of Physical Education and Health, said, "I hope the student athletes participating in this competition will realize their dreams and achieve greater growth," adding, "We sincerely support that their efforts and passion will lead to beautiful results at the event."
