Planning Major Policies from the Youth Perspective... Promoting Youth Support Systems through Youth-Friendly Media
Dongseo University (President Jang Jeguk) University Job Plus Center is collaborating with the Busan Northern District Employment and Labor Office to operate the '2024 Busan Northern District Youth Employment Supporters'.
At the supporter appointment ceremony held on the 8th at the convention room of the Busan Northern Employment Welfare Center, more than 30 participants attended, including the head of the Busan Northern District Employment and Labor Office, staff from the Busan Northern Employment Welfare Center and Dongseo University Job Plus Center, and 18 supporters composed of Dongseo University students.
The appointed supporters will, for three months starting in October, plan and promote key policies such as youth employment from a youth perspective. They will use youth-friendly media such as SNS short-form videos and card news to maximize promotional effectiveness.
In addition, they plan to participate in various youth support activities in the Busan region with the Busan Northern District Employment and Labor Office, and produce videos of their experiences and activity records to promote the center and support programs.
Min Gwangje, head of the Busan Northern District Employment and Labor Office, said in his encouraging remarks, "The competencies that companies seek in job applicants are becoming more diverse, and the support provided by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and its affiliated offices is also undergoing various changes. Through these supporters, I expect that we will be able to plan and promote youth support programs tailored to the perspective of young job seekers."
The Busan Northern District Youth Employment Supporters are expected to play a role in increasing youth interest and participation, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of policies such as youth employment support.
