Gyeongbok University has partnered with the pet funeral specialist company ‘MyPets’ for industry-academic cooperation.
The Department of Companion Animal Health at Gyeongbok University announced on the 10th that it recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with MyPets for industry-academic cooperation.
Through this agreement, the two institutions will collaborate in various areas including ▲development and operation of training programs for pet funeral experts ▲field training at pet funeral companies ▲development of certifications related to the pet industry ▲internships and employment linkage after graduation.
Professor Jeong Yeon-su of Gyeongbok University’s Department of Companion Animal Health said, "This cooperation with an excellent industry partner has become a valuable opportunity for the development of our department," adding, "We will develop various industry-academic cooperation programs with MyPets to create exemplary cases."
Meanwhile, MyPets is a pet funeral specialist company that leads the establishment of a compassionate funeral culture by providing professional personnel called ‘Pet Funeral Directors,’ aiming to warmly embrace not only the pet’s final moments but also the hearts of the remaining guardians.
