Paju City Hosts Special Exhibition 'The Only One DMZ, A Perfect World'

The special exhibition "DMZ, The One and Only, Perfect World," which reexamines the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) from a new perspective through various fields of art, will be held from the 11th of this month until the 1st of next month.

This exhibition was selected in March through the "Peace Green in Paju (GREEN IN PAJU) Special Exhibition" contest, supported by the Paju City Inter-Korean Exchange Cooperation Fund, and after six months of preparation, it is now ready to welcome visitors.

The "DMZ, The One and Only, Perfect World" exhibition is an attempt to shed new light on the multi-layered meanings of the DMZ space through various genres such as video, dance, photography, and installation art. It is composed of three spaces: "Axis of Crossing," "Time of Longitudinal," and "Garden of Circulation."

This exhibition begins with the question, "Can the time of nature, which has self-sustained and circulated amid the absence of humans and the time of humans severed by war, coexist?" It is expected to offer a meaningful time that discovers a path to emotional impact through deep reflection on this question.

Hosted by Paju City and organized by the Earth and People Foundation, the exhibition will open at 5 p.m. on the 11th at the "Art Center White Block" located in Heyri Art Village.
