Sungkyul University announced on the 10th that it will hold a commemorative event to celebrate its 127th anniversary and 70 years in Seoul.

On the 10th of this month, Sungkyul University will hold a commemorative worship service and the opening ceremony of a special exhibition of overseas Christian relics. On the 28th, it will host the commemorative academic conference "From Pyongyang to Seoul," and on the 26th of next month, the Hyeongnam Music Concert will take place.
Pyongyang Sungkyul University voluntarily closed in March 1938 to refuse the Japanese colonial government's forced Shinto shrine worship. After the Korean War, it relocated to South Korea and was reestablished in Seoul in 1954.
