The Gyeongnam Intellectual Property Center of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry is expanding its free patent attorney consultation service for small and medium-sized enterprises and local residents with business ideas, not only at the main office in Changwon but also at the Masan and Jinhae branches.
The service will be available starting in October, with consultations held at the Masan branch in October, the Jinhae branch in November, and the main office in Changwon in December. Consultations are available from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month. On the 23rd, consultations will take place at the Chamber Lounge in the Masan branch; on November 13 and 27, at the Chamber Lounge in the Jinhae branch; and on December 11, at the Gyeongnam Intellectual Property Center meeting room on the second floor of the main office in Changwon.
Consultations will be provided by professional consultants from the Gyeongnam Intellectual Property Center, together with patent attorneys active in the region. They will offer advice on various industrial property rights, including patents, utility models, designs, and trademarks. This support aims to help protect innovative ideas in the region as actual intellectual property rights. Information on various support programs run by the Gyeongnam Intellectual Property Center will also be provided.
Any small and medium-sized business, small business owner, or local resident in the Gyeongnam area can receive consultation without any formalities or procedures. In addition to the regular consultation days, anyone experiencing difficulties related to intellectual property rights can visit the Gyeongnam Intellectual Property Center in person or call at any time for assistance.
