'Gyeongseong Creature' Season 2 Surpasses 'Mom's Friend's Son'
The cooking survival entertainment show 'Black and White Chefs: Cooking Class War' has topped the Netflix non-English TV series viewing rankings for three consecutive weeks.
According to Netflix on the 9th, it recorded 4 million views (the number of views divided by playback time) from the 30th of last month to the 6th of this month. The previous week recorded 4.9 million views, and two weeks ago, it recorded 3.8 million views, securing first place each time.
'Black and White Chefs: Cooking Class War' is a survival program where eighty chefs named 'Heuksujeo' (Black Spoon) and twenty relatively more well-known chefs called 'Baeksujeo' (White Spoon) compete in various cooking battles to determine the winner.
Baek Jong-won, CEO of The Born Korea, and Ahn Seong-jae, chef of Mosu Seoul, appear as judges. Famous chefs such as Yeo Kyung-rae, Choi Hyun-seok, Edward Lee, Jung Ji-seon, Choi Kang-rok, and Oh Se-deuk appear as Baeksujeo. The series consists of 12 episodes, with episodes 11 and 12 unveiled on the 8th.
Meanwhile, the Netflix original series 'Gyeongseong Creature' Season 2, starring Han So-hee and Park Seo-joon, released on the 27th of last month, ranked second in the non-English category with 3.7 million views. The tvN drama 'Mom's Friend's Son,' starring Jung Hae-in and Jung So-min, ranked third with 2.5 million views.
