Mini New Town-Scale Residential-Commercial Apartment Complex
Establishment of 'Ujeong Cambodia School' Within the Complex
Booyoung Group is starting the supply of 1,474 households in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, marking the beginning of the development of ‘Booyoung Town,’ a mini-city-scale complex with a total of 20,000 households.
Booyoung Group announced on the 9th that it held the grand opening ceremony for the Booyoung Town residential-commercial complex apartments in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on the 8th. Booyoung Town is a residential-commercial apartment complex being developed on a mini-city scale with 20,000 households by Booyoung KhmerⅡ, Booyoung Group’s overseas subsidiary.
Booyoung Group is first introducing 1,474 households as the initial complex. It consists of four buildings ranging from four basement floors to 21 above-ground floors, with 568 units of 65㎡, 608 units of 85㎡, and 298 units of 117㎡. As a post-sale apartment, residents can move in immediately after completing the contract procedures. Foreigners are also allowed to sign contracts.
The complex offers high residential convenience. All units feature built-in systems, premium finishing materials, and sophisticated interiors, and are designed with a slab-type structure to facilitate natural ventilation and airflow. A large sports center (including fitness, swimming pool, and indoor golf practice range) is planned within the commercial area. The mid-to-large scale shopping mall with 223 stores will include various convenience facilities.
Notably, the complex houses the ‘Ujeong Cambodia School,’ providing an excellent educational environment. The school, with a total floor area of 15,994㎡, consists of three buildings with five floors, including daycare, kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high schools, a nursing college, and senior welfare facilities, comprising a total of 125 classrooms and accommodating about 2,000 students. It opened in early last month. On the east side of the school building is the ‘Phnom Penh Korean International School (KISPP)’ for children of the Cambodian Korean community, supporting second-generation Korean-Cambodian students to pursue their studies in a better educational environment.
The complex is located in Sen Sok, which is part of central Phnom Penh and situated between the downtown area and residential districts, attracting high demand and interest from locals. The area includes shopping malls, large supermarkets, and international schools. Once the supply of over 20,000 households is completed, the future value is expected to rise further.

Chairman Lee said, “We hope that Booyoung Town, a Korean-style apartment complex, will become a landmark in Phnom Penh and contribute to the development of Cambodia’s residential culture.”
Booyoung Group has carried out various social contribution activities in Cambodia. Recently, it donated 1,400 buses and trucks to improve public transportation conditions, donated over 3,000 digital pianos and 40,000 educational blackboards, and provided funds for the construction of 300 elementary schools. It has also continued to donate about $550,000 for the development of national Taekwondo, as well as clothing, shoes, and medical funds.
Booyoung Group Chairman Lee Jung-geun was awarded Cambodia’s highest national merit medal by former Prime Minister Hun Sen last year for his contributions to Cambodia’s economic and social development. In May, he was appointed as an economic advisor to Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, where he is expected to assist in Cambodia’s economic development and various policy decisions.
