Daegu Cyber University held the 4th Development Advisory Committee meeting on the 7th at the university's main building C.I.R conference room.

The meeting focused on discussions regarding the establishment of new departments to drive change at the university and strategies to invigorate student recruitment.


This year, the university reported on the 2024 admissions trends, business achievements and plans, major accomplishments, and exchanged various opinions on current university issues.


Committee Chair Yoon Sungkyu stated, "As the paradigm of online education is rapidly changing in society, I hope the university will establish new policies and concrete implementation plans for the new departments, review detailed tasks, and take the lead in the education market."


Committee member Han Seon said, "I hope that by establishing new departments, Daegu Cyber University will foster talent in various fields and further strengthen its specialization to meet the demands of the education market."


Lee Geunyong, President of Daegu Cyber University, commented, "Recently, the university has been selected for the 2nd phase of the Remote University Education Innovation Support Project, received approval for the conversion of the Graduate School of Human Care to a general graduate school, and established a doctoral program, marking a series of fortunate events. Moving forward, we will work closely with the committee members to build a strong cooperative system and strive to become a successful model of online education."


The Daegu Cyber University Development Advisory Committee consists of Chair Yoon Sungkyu, former Chairman of Gyeongsan City Council; Han Seon, President of Gyeongbuk Ilbo; Kim Jonghae, Chairman of Hyundai TMS; Lim Hansoon, Director of TBC; Lee Seunghyun, President of Dongseo Development; Jung Geukwon, Professor at Daegu University; Sung Mooyong, Advisor of Youngkwang Academy Foundation; and Jin Seonwoo, Managing Attorney at Yulbom.
