Uijeongbu-si Holds 3rd Welfare Policy Strategy Meeting Mayor Kim Dong-geun is holding the '3rd Welfare Policy Strategy Meeting' in the mayor's office on the 7th.

Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 8th that it held the '3rd Welfare Policy Strategy Meeting' in the mayor's office on the 7th to explore ways to promote welfare policies through interdepartmental and public-private cooperation.

Fifteen people, including Mayor Kim Dong-geun, the Director of the Welfare Bureau, the private co-chair of the Uijeongbu City Community Security Council, and heads of related departments, attended the meeting to discuss Uijeongbu City's welfare brands 'Moduui Dolbom' (Care for All) and the 'Hyunchungtap Memorial Park Project,' as well as to analyze the welfare budget.

Moduui Dolbom is a project where the public and government, along with citizens, work together to create 'Uijeongbu where everyone receives care and everyone cares for each other.'

Specifically, it includes a total of 11 promotion tasks across three areas: △ Uijeongbu-style care △ Welfare design public-private cooperation (governance) △ Zero blind spots project.

Mayor Kim Dong-geun emphasized, “With increasing welfare demand and limited budget, it is very important to respond to new welfare needs together with civil society,” adding, “We must theoretically systematize Moduui Dolbom to support it solidly and actively promote private cooperation public contest projects.”

Going forward, the city plans to hold regular welfare policy strategy meetings to derive solutions for pressing welfare issues and discuss collaboration matters.
