Investment Attraction and Corporate Promotion Support for Fintech Companies

IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 8th that it successfully concluded the ‘2024 Seoul Fintech Week Demo Day with IBK Industrial Bank’ event, co-hosted with the Seoul Metropolitan Government at Conrad Seoul in Yeouido on the 7th.

‘Seoul Fintech Week 2024,’ hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government until the 10th, is a fintech-specialized global event held to enhance Seoul’s competitiveness as a digital financial city and to promote innovation and development in the fintech industry.

This demo day was organized to provide fintech companies with investment opportunities and corporate promotion support through IBK Industrial Bank’s digital open innovation testbed ‘IBK 1st LAB’ and ‘Seoul Fintech Lab,’ the largest fintech incubation institution in Korea.

A total of 12 participating companies that advanced to the finals (▲Gonggan-ui Gachi ▲Green Ribbon ▲Money Station ▲Mimbee ▲Softlanders ▲Aikuka ▲Whatsup ▲Quantum AI ▲Crosshub ▲Fairy ▲Korea Asset Acquisition ▲Korea Housing Information) presented IR pitching in front of six judges composed of investment reviewers from IBK Financial Group and venture capital (VC) firms.

As a result of the demo day judging, the grand prize was awarded to Korea Housing Information, and the popularity award went to Crosshub. The two companies selected as outstanding enterprises will receive residency at Seoul Fintech Lab and membership benefits at Seoul Fintech Lab.
