Kakao announced on the 8th that it will carry out a Kakao Friends brand campaign in collaboration with Incheon International Airport Corporation.
Since 2022, Kakao has introduced new Kakao Friends content every year with a different theme. Marking the third year of this collaboration, the scope has been expanded to include media broadcasting, space wrapping, and product launches.
First, the brand video "Platform of Emotions," themed around various feelings experienced at the airport, has been released through Incheon Airport's media platform since July. The video features Ryan and Chunsik visiting Incheon Airport in an episodic format, capturing a variety of emotions felt at the airport such as excitement, waiting, longing, and sadness. The video is scheduled to be screened on 55 large screens within Incheon Airport until the end of the year.
Additionally, starting from the 7th, a brand experience is being offered through a self check-in zone featuring Chunsik. Some pillars and devices in the airport's self check-in zones have been wrapped with Kakao Friends characters, and boarding passes illustrated with Ryan and Chunsik are provided, enhancing the joy of travel in various spaces.
Special limited-edition goods exclusive to Incheon Airport have also been released. Four types of disposable film cameras themed around excitement, longing, joy, and happiness are being sold at the Kakao Friends store in Shinsegae Duty Free at Incheon Airport Terminal 2. In December, to commemorate the grand opening of the 4th phase of Terminal 2, a Chunsik sculpture will be installed inside the terminal.
