Wonju City to Host Gangwon Gamyeong Chrysanthemum Exhibition Starting from the 16th

Wonju City, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Mayor Won Kang-su), announced on the 8th that the 2nd Chrysanthemum Exhibition, filled with the scent of autumn, will be held under the theme "A Golden Chrysanthemum Feast to Enjoy with Loved Ones" from the 16th to the 27th at the Gangwon Gamyeong area.

This year, in addition to high-quality chrysanthemum works, a colorful and three-dimensional chrysanthemum sculpture symbolizing Wonju was created, and various flowers such as wildflowers and cut flowers growing in Wonju will also be exhibited.

Additionally, a variety of performances that evoke the autumn atmosphere will be held, and various experience programs such as chrysanthemum planting, tea ceremony, and hanbok experience have been prepared for families to enjoy together.

A Wonju city official stated, "Not only can visitors appreciate the colorful chrysanthemums and autumn flowers at Gangwon Gamyeong, the highest institution in Gangwon Province during the 500 years of the Joseon Dynasty, but at night, with the lighting, they can enjoy the deepening autumn night atmosphere along with the flowers."
