Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) newly provided a school bus for children to the ‘Pocheon Kkumnamu Daycare Center,’ a national and public daycare center specializing in children with disabilities, on the 7th.
The new vehicle was supported to create an environment where the enrolled children can commute safely to and from the center. The vehicle handover ceremony was attended by Baek Young-hyun, Mayor of Pocheon, the director of Pocheon Kkumnamu Daycare Center, and other related personnel.
The delivered vehicle is a child-exclusive school bus equipped with the latest safety devices and eco-friendly features, expected not only to protect the safety of children but also to contribute to environmental protection.
The director of Pocheon Kkumnamu Daycare Center said, “We express our deep gratitude to Pocheon City. Parents are also very satisfied with the support,” and added, “We are very pleased that the environment has improved so that the children can commute safely. We expect this to be a great help in operating the daycare center.”
