POFACT announced on the 7th that it installed and operated its real-time bodycam LIVE ST20 product at the ‘Seoul International Fireworks Festival’ held on the 5th to monitor the safety of attendees.
POFACT is a company specializing in bodycams and helmet Bluetooth devices, producing bodycam devices that allow easy recording and audio capture with simple operation. The POFACT LIVE ST20 real-time bodycam used at this festival features basic bodycam functions such as 2K video recording, photo capture, IP67 rating, and replaceable batteries, as well as real-time video streaming capabilities using wireless communication technologies like 4G LTE and Wi-Fi.
At the festival, POFACT installed real-time bodycams across 16 sections between Yeouinaru Station and the 63 Building, and 8 sections between the west side pedestrian bridge of Wonhyo Bridge and Ichon Interchange. Two festival managers wore the bodycams while patrolling, operating a total of 26 real-time bodycams.
The real-time bodycams were installed in areas where installing CCTV was restricted or where crowds were dense, and were linked to a video monitoring system to allow real-time monitoring of attendees.
The real-time bodycams minimize spatial constraints, reduce blind spots, and enable quick response in case of incidents.
A POFACT representative stated, “We are relieved that the festival concluded safely without major accidents thanks to POFACT’s real-time bodycams.”
Meanwhile, POFACT is currently collaborating with large corporations such as SK Telecom on LTE real-time bodycam projects and supplies bodycam products to government offices, military units, construction companies, and numerous large enterprises.
