The Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency is conducting a new patrol concept unique to the Incheon Mobile Patrol Unit called "Sabang Patrol" to protect citizens' safety more effectively.

Sabang Patrol means "patrolling every corner in all four directions?east, west, south, and north" and "patrolling with four directional approaches." The four approaches are ▲ prevention and arrest patrol ▲ joint patrol ▲ target patrol ▲ diagnostic patrol, each assigned specific objectives and clear missions to respond to various security demands, enabling more effective patrols.

Last month, the Mobile Patrol Unit also carried out safety activities at the Bupyeong Pungmul Festival and Sorae Port Festival. During the Bupyeong Pungmul Festival, a Mobile Patrol Unit member found a man in his 70s who had lost consciousness and collapsed, and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Kim Dohyung, Chief of the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency, stated, "We will analyze security demands more meticulously and actively conduct Sabang Patrols to prevent crimes and accidents."
