Dongducheon City is conducting a child abuse prevention campaign at the 2024 Angel Day commemorative event held on the 3rd at Dongducheon Sports Complex. Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyung-deok) announced on the 7th that it conducted a child abuse prevention campaign at the 2024 Angel Day commemorative event held at Dongducheon Sports Complex on the 3rd.
This promotional activity was jointly carried out by Dongducheon City and the Dongducheon Police Station. In particular, citizens participating in the event were informed of the suspected child abuse reporting number 112 for the protection of abused children, and were given promotional booklets (leaflets) on proper parenting methods and positive parenting 129 for healthy child growth, along with promotional items.
A city official stated, "Through this child abuse prevention campaign, we hope to create an environment where our angel-like children are protected from abuse and can grow up happily," adding, "We will continue to spare no effort, both materially and spiritually, to provide citizens with accurate information about child abuse and to make Dongducheon a city where child angels grow up safely."
