Nexon Foundation Hosts 'NanuneunMom HamkkehagoPam' to Support Independent Living for Young Adults with Developmental Disabilities

Nexon Foundation announced on the 7th that it will hold an offline event called "Let's Go, Purume Romantic Trip" as part of a project to support the independence of young adults with developmental disabilities.

From the 16th to the 27th of this month, Nexon Foundation will host the Purume Romantic Trip event at 'Purume Social Farm' and 'Cafe Muisup,' workplaces for young adults with developmental disabilities located in Yeoju City, Gyeonggi Province. This event was planned to raise awareness about the lives of employees with developmental disabilities and provide an opportunity to experience products they have directly created, thereby increasing understanding of disabilities.

At the Purume Romantic Trip, visitors can try new bakery menu items using the Mabinogi intellectual property (IP), such as 'Nawo Tiramisu' and 'Irusha Sole Madeleine,' which are made by employees with developmental disabilities. There is also a new lineup of the 'Mabinogi 20th Anniversary Character Cookie Set.' Buyers will receive a random character sticker as a gift.

Additionally, limited edition collaboration new goods such as the 'Mondi & Irusha Cup' and 'Rona & Pan & Mondi Plate' will be sold, along with various official Mabinogi merchandise and Purume Foundation collaboration goods. The proceeds from sales will be used to support the independence of young adults with developmental disabilities, in line with the event's purpose of sharing and caring.

Furthermore, various programs will be available, including business exhibitions, photo zones, stamp tours, and hands-on experiences such as picking cherry tomatoes and making pizza bread. Participation in the experience programs is limited to 120 people on a first-come, first-served basis through prior registration.

Meanwhile, this event is part of the 'Nanuneun Mam Hamkkehago Farm' campaign, which has entered its third year this year. Nanuneun Mam Hamkkehago Farm is Mabinogi's representative social contribution project that supports young adults with developmental disabilities to work and become independent in a stable environment.

Since 2022, through Nanuneun Mam Hamkkehago Farm, Mabinogi has supported the stable operation and revitalization of Purume Social Farm and Cafe Muisup by covering essential consumable purchase costs for agriculture and cafe operations, supporting product creation and sales using Mabinogi IP, and expanding the hiring of employees with disabilities.
