Stable Curriculum Management for About 370 Elementary School Teachers

The Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education (Superintendent Ha Yoonsoo) will hold a training session to strengthen the competency of elementary school teachers in designing school curricula under the 2022 revised curriculum at 2:30 p.m. on the 8th in the main auditorium of the Busan Education Research and Information Institute, targeting over 370 elementary school teachers.

This training aims to support the effective organization and operation of the "School Autonomy Hours" for grades 3 and 4, which will be applied from next year under the 2022 revised curriculum, and "Career-linked Education" for grades 1 to 4.

The Busan Office of Education will focus on supporting the stable operation of school curricula, conducting the training with an emphasis on practical cases to enhance field applicability.

On this day, leading teachers from the Ministry of Education will serve as instructors, delivering lectures on "Understanding and Practical Operation of School Autonomy Hours" and "Understanding and Practical Operation of Career-linked Education."

Additionally, there will be a session to answer questions submitted in advance by participants regarding the organization and operation of "School Autonomy Hours" and "Career-linked Education." This will help participants communicate and find answers on their own as teachers.

Ha Yoonsoo, Superintendent of the Busan Office of Education, stated, "This training will be of great help in enhancing teachers’ understanding and operational competency ahead of the introduction of the 2022 revised curriculum," and added, "The Office of Education will do its best to support diverse and creative school curriculum operations in which everyone participates together."
