Dream Insight announced on the 7th that it will officially launch its intellectual property (IP) business by releasing content created in collaboration with Chef Jang Ho-jun on its YouTube channel.
The channel established through the collaboration between Chef Jang Ho-jun and Dream Insight is called "The Chef Who Wants to Rise, Jang Ho-jun." Chef Jang Ho-jun has gained recognition by appearing in the popular Netflix original series "Black & White Chef."
Starting with this content, Dream Insight explained that it is intensifying its IP business based on its planning and marketing capabilities. Comprehensive content production competitiveness is secured through its in-house production studio, "Unicorn Trophy." To strengthen the professionalism of the business, "Unicorn Trophy" is planned to be established as the company’s entertainment corporation. Based on this, the company aims to actively expand various content business areas, including web variety shows and web management, beyond the IP business.
A representative from Dream Insight stated, "Starting with this content, we will expand the IP domain and commercialization and strive to maximize profitability. We will collaborate with celebrities and influencers from various fields to produce differentiated content and secure sustainable growth momentum."
Meanwhile, Netflix’s first cooking survival show "Black & White Chef" has attracted great attention with its fresh format and original story. It was recently ranked as the most-watched non-English series worldwide on Netflix for two consecutive weeks. Chef Jang Ho-jun advanced to the Top 8 semifinals in episode 9, which was released on the 1st.
