MOU Signed Between Korea Management Certification Institute and [Partner Name]
SK C&C announced on the 7th that it has signed a business cooperation agreement (MOU) with Korea Management Registrar (KMR), a leading domestic certification body, to create a sustainable management ecosystem for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The purpose of this agreement is to combine SK C&C's digital technology capabilities with KMR's expertise in ESG and management system certification to support SMEs in securing a sustainable management ecosystem.
Specifically, the two parties will collaborate in the acquisition and maintenance of certifications from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), an area where SMEs face difficulties.
SK C&C will support the 'Click ISO' platform. By utilizing this platform, users can easily prepare for certification audits and renewals according to detailed manuals and guides for each ISO certification. This significantly reduces the time and cost involved in the certification process.
For example, in the most commonly acquired Quality Management System (ISO9001) certification, the Click ISO platform provides manuals and document preparation guides for each procedure, including ▲diagnosis of operation and management status to improve quality ▲establishment of internal systems and regulations ▲management of documents related to quality improvement status and performance indicators ▲training for personnel responding to audits.
The Click ISO platform also features intranet functions such as company announcements, management schedule sharing, and certification bulletin boards, helping SMEs manage ISO certification maintenance more systematically. Users can select and save standard audit document templates used by domestic certification bodies on the platform, update content as needed, and manage the history.
The two parties also agreed to cooperate in sales and marketing activities to expand ISO certification among SMEs. They plan to broaden business opportunities through various channels, including SK C&C partners and small business DX support projects led by the Hwaseong Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Free training on ISO certification procedures and preparation processes will also be provided for corporate practitioners and managers.
Shin Yong-woon, Head of ESG Strategy at SK C&C, said, "The demand from SMEs seeking ISO certification as a means to meet the strengthening global ESG regulations and related disclosure reliability requirements is increasing. Click ISO will help SMEs overcome the significant time and cost burdens experienced during the ISO certification and renewal processes."
