CBS Broadcast '60 Minutes' Interview
U.S. Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris stated on the 6th (local time) that she "will not stop pressuring Israel and regional Arab countries to (ceasefire)."
She emphasized that the U.S. principles include "the necessity of humanitarian aid, the need to end this war, the need to release hostages, and the need to negotiate a ceasefire for Gaza."
Regarding security support for Israel, Vice President Harris said, "With the support we have provided, Israel was able to defend itself and its people from 200 ballistic missiles launched by Iran," adding, "Considering the threats from Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran, enabling Israel to defend against this kind of attack is undoubtedly America's responsibility."
Vice President Harris's interview on CBS will air at 8 p.m. Eastern Time on the 7th.
