Children visitors are enjoying the flowers at Nari Farm in Yangju City, where the 'Yangju Ten Million Celosia Festival' is being held on the 5th. As autumn arrives, flower festivals are being held across the country, and the Celosia flower field at Nari Farm in Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) is attracting many visitors as a popular outing spot.
According to Yangju City on the 5th, Nari Farm features 23 types of flowers, including the main flower Celosia, Pink Muhly, Pampas grass, and Cosmos, each displaying vibrant colors and receiving great responses from visitors.
As of the 4th, 190,000 people have visited. Especially during the short holidays in early October, about 20,000 people visited daily, establishing Nari Farm as Yangju’s representative flower festival.
The process of preparing the Nari Farm flower field was not smooth. According to city officials, due to record-breaking heatwaves, it was difficult to work during the day, so they came out at dawn to care for the flowers. Frequent rain prevented the flowers from showing their true colors, so great effort was made to restore the flower colors. Thanks to these efforts, the beautiful flower field was completed.
Visitors are capturing memories at the Pink Muhly flower field in Nari Farm, Yangju City, where the 'Yangju Ten Million Celosia Festival' is being held on the 5th. The city implemented various promotional strategies to widely publicize the Nari Farm flower field. The ‘Ten Million Celosia Festival’ was successfully held at Nari Farm, and Yangju Mayor Kang Su-hyun appeared on a broadcasting station to actively promote the flower field.
Major broadcasters also vividly covered the flower field site, and news reports and SNS, both online and offline, were used to share information about the flower field. As a result, videos and photos capturing the recently blooming flowers have gained great popularity, attracting nationwide interest from people seeking to enjoy the flowers.
The popularity of Nari Farm is drawing tourists, revitalizing the surrounding commercial district, and positively impacting the local economy.
Mayor Kang Su-hyun of Yangju said, “I hope many citizens visit Yangju Nari Farm, embroidered with colorful autumn flowers, to forget daily stress, enjoy leisure in nature, and create lasting memories.”
