Musicians and music organizations in Hanam-si, Gyeonggi Province, will come together to deliver a beautiful harmony at the 2024 Hanam Music Association Regular Concert, which will be held on the 8th at 7:30 PM at the Geomdan Hall of the Hanam Culture and Arts Center, with all seats free of charge.
According to Hanam-si on the 5th, the 2024 Hanam Music Association Regular Concert, under the theme "Haneul Yeondal Ahre," commemorates the 578th anniversary of Hangeul Day, emphasizing the value and importance of our script 'Hangeul' and celebrating its beauty. The program consists of pieces ranging from classical to contemporary beautiful compositions.
Hosted by announcer Jang Ye-jin, this performance features a piano trio of violinist Jeong Hye-yoon, cellist Kim Si-nae, and pianist Jang Ji-suk, who are concertmaster and principal members of the Hanam Philharmonic Orchestra, showcasing unique performances across various genres. Also performing are tenor Lee Kyung-ho with rich expressiveness, pianist Kim Bun-hee with delicate touch and abundant musicality, trumpeter Kim Wan-seon with outstanding musical interpretation and dazzling technique, the representative children's music group of Hanam-si, the Hanam-si Boys and Girls Choir, the Amabile Harmonica Ensemble, a group practicing service and sharing through harmonica melodies, the popera group Volare’s tenor Kang Myung-bo, and the Gwaenchanheun Ensemble, which delivers music with a harmonious balance of violin and viola, offering a full emotional experience on an autumn night in October.
Chae Yoon, head of the Hanam Music Association branch, said, “We hope to contribute to the revitalization of the local arts scene and would like to invite many citizens of Hanam-si to this special time to feel the beautiful autumn atmosphere.”
Tickets for this performance will be distributed on-site starting one hour before the concert begins.
