Namyangju City Encourages and Shares Genuine Communication with Youth Starting Anew

Joo Gwang-deok, Mayor of Namyangju City, is spending time communicating with local youth on the 2nd.

Gyeonggi Namyangju City (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 4th that it held a time to communicate with local youth on the 2nd.

This communication event was prepared to celebrate the launch of the 'Namyangju Youth Cooperative,' formed by youth active in various fields within the region.

The Namyangju Youth Cooperative (Chairman Seo Dong-hyun) is the only youth cooperative in the area, established last July with the purpose of ▲activating youth social participation ▲providing employment and startup consulting ▲planning cultural and artistic events ▲and social contribution.

After the launch event of the Youth Cooperative, Mayor Joo Gwang-deok of Namyangju City sat with the youth and had an honest conversation about their concerns and demands.

Mayor Joo said, “I sincerely congratulate the launch of the Namyangju Youth Cooperative,” and added, “I am very proud to see young people voluntarily gathering and thinking about the region and youth.”

He continued, “As Jeong Yak-yong said, ‘Every beginning is great,’ I will encourage and support young people to grow through various challenges and experiences without fear.”

Chairman Seo Dong-hyun said, “I deeply thank Mayor Joo Gwang-deok and related officials who have shown great interest and support for youth with the establishment of the Youth Policy Division,” and added, “I believe there are many things we can do together rather than alone. We will strive to serve as the catalyst for creating a city where youth are happy.”
