Seo Taewon, Gapyeong County Governor, Joins Relay to Prevent Child Abuse

Seo Taewon, Gapyeong County Governor, participated in the child abuse prevention relay campaign "Positive Parenting that Respects Children as They Are" on the 2nd.

Seo Taewon, the governor of Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 4th that he participated in the child abuse prevention relay campaign, "Respecting Children as They Are with Positive Parenting," on the 2nd.

The child abuse prevention relay campaign aims to raise awareness about child abuse and spread the recognition of positive parenting. Since May, starting with the First Vice Minister of Health and Welfare, participation has continued from public institutions and private companies. This campaign will be utilized on the 18th Child Abuse Prevention Day (November 19).

Governor Seo Taewon's participation in the campaign was prompted by Lee Yunsun, the head of the Gapyeong Office of Education, who had previously joined the campaign.

Governor Seo emphasized, "We will spare no effort in providing various support to prevent child abuse, promote the healthy growth and development of all children, and help them become happy members of society."

Governor Seo nominated Park Hyungdeok, mayor of Dongducheon City, Kim Seungro, chairman of the Dongducheon City Council, and Choi Jinman, chief of the Gapyeong Fire Station, as the next participants in the relay campaign.
