Seoul Voice "Cannot Trust Prosecutor's Investigation... Will Verify Authenticity by Getting Dior Bag Back"

Seoul Voice Appeals Prosecutor's Non-Indictment Decision on 'Luxury Bag' Case

The internet media outlet Seoul Voice, which reported the luxury handbag acceptance incident involving First Lady Kim Keon-hee, wife of President Yoon Suk-yeol, condemned the prosecution's decision not to indict.

Baek Eun-jong, CEO of Seoul Voice, held a press conference with Pastor Choi Jae-young and others in front of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office in Seocho-gu, Seoul, on the morning of the 4th, stating, "We will file an appeal, a re-appeal, and even a petition for reconsideration." He added, "The prosecution created a 'legal fraud logic' as a desperate measure to clear Mrs. Kim of charges."

Pastor Choi, who was also present, supported this by saying, "The prosecution made a power-oriented decision." CEO Baek plans to submit an appeal to the Supreme Prosecutors' Office on the 7th.

Regarding the prosecution's statement that they will proceed with the state treasury confiscation procedure for the luxury handbag, CEO Baek said, "We will verify through litigation whether the Dior bag submitted is genuine or not," adding, "We cannot trust the prosecution's investigation."

Earlier, on the 2nd, the prosecution decided not to indict all the accused, including First Lady Kim and Pastor Choi, in the luxury handbag acceptance case.
