Uljin-gun, North Gyeongsang Province, has implemented an intelligent selective monitoring system at the Uljin-gun CCTV Integrated Control Center, establishing a rapid response system for disasters such as wildfires and various incidents and accidents through AI-based intelligent analysis.
This system utilizes AI analysis technology to automatically analyze CCTV footage, identify people and vehicles, and detect movements deemed as dangers or threats, notifying control personnel in real time.
The county has strengthened wildfire monitoring by integrating 13 wildfire surveillance CCTVs installed at major mountain peaks within the area into the Uljin-gun CCTV Control Center and applying a flame and smoke detection solution.
In addition, 80 CCTVs installed in areas with a high likelihood of incidents and accidents have been equipped with functions to automatically identify people and vehicles, as well as detect abnormal behaviors and risk factors such as fainting or fighting.
Uljin-gun expects that this intelligent selective system will ensure the safety of residents by responding more effectively to wildfires and various incidents and accidents during the winter season.
County Governor Son Byeongbok stated, "We will continue to expand the intelligent selective monitoring system to create a safer region from various incidents and accidents."
