The Space Aviation Agency announced on the 3rd that it has selected three candidates for the new president of the Korea Aerospace Research Institute: Lee Sang-cheol, Choi Ki-young, and Choi Hwan-seok, and three candidates for the president of the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute: Park Byung-gon, Park Jang-hyun, and Yuk In-su.
The interviews and board meetings for selecting the president candidates of the Korea Aerospace Research Institute were held on the 2nd, and for the Astronomy Institute, the interviews and board meetings were held on the 24th of last month, with the announcement made together on this day.
The Space Aviation Agency explained that after a personnel evaluation process for the candidates, the presidents of the Korea Aerospace Research Institute and the Astronomy Institute will be finalized.
