On the 4th, JYP Entertainment announced that Stray Kids' Bang Chan donated 100 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Kim Byung-joon). This donation was made on the 3rd to commemorate his 27th birthday.

Bang Chan also became a member of the "Honor Society" operated by the Community Chest of Korea. This group is only open to high-value donors who have donated more than 2.1 billion KRW and was first established in 2007. He reportedly decided to make this donation to participate in the virtuous cycle of sharing.

The 100 million KRW donated by Bang Chan will be used to help people with developmental disabilities. Additionally, it is expected to be used for physical fitness projects such as capacity-building training for athletes with developmental disabilities and the establishment of a health checkup system.

Bang Chan said, "I am grateful to be able to share a little of the meaningful love I received from fans on my birthday," and added, "I hope my small sharing reaches places where help does not yet reach."

Currently, Stray Kids, with Bang Chan as the leader, has gained worldwide popularity since 2017 by utilizing a wide musical spectrum. Based on their distinct presence, they are conducting their third world tour, dominATE, and are expected to further expand their influence.

On the 6th (local time), they will attend as performers at the 50th anniversary of the American Music Awards, one of the four major music award shows in the United States. This marks the second time for a K-pop group to perform, following BTS.

On the 13th of next month, they will release their second Japanese full-length album, GIANT. This album is their first new release in 1 year and 9 months since their first Japanese full-length album, THE SOUND, released in February last year.
