Hoseo University Successfully Concludes 2024 Industry-Academia Cooperation Festival

Over 3,000 People Gather

Hoseo University LINC3.0 Project Group held the '2024 Venture 1st Unisry Day'.

The '2024 Venture 1st Unis+ry Day' industry-academia cooperation festival, hosted by the Hoseo University LINC3.0 Project Group, attracted 3,000 visitors, drawing significant attention from the local industry, academia, and research sectors.

The event, held from the 1st to the 2nd at Hoseo University Asan Campus, was organized to share the achievements of local government-industry-academia collaboration, foster talent in future convergence technologies, realize a leading model for industry-academia cooperation, and spread the outcomes of such partnerships as the university aims to become an entrepreneurial institution.

Main programs included: △Capstone Design, Startup Club, and Social Venture Club achievement exhibitions △Capstone Design and Startup Club competitions △Family company product promotions and introductions of outstanding startups/technology commercialization companies △Exhibitions of local government-industry-academia collaboration achievements △Technology commercialization consulting and diagnosis (Technology Transfer Bridge) △On-site interviews and job counseling at a recruitment fair.

Additionally, various participatory programs were held, such as △a drone soccer experience zone and next-generation display exhibition/experience zone △special startup lectures and talk concerts with renowned entrepreneurs from specialized ICC fields.

Notably, this festival saw an increase of about 1,000 visitors compared to last year, with approximately 3,000 attendees, showcasing the high level of enthusiasm for the local industry.

Kim Jangwoo, head of the LINC3.0 Project Group, stated, "Using this industry-academia cooperation festival as a stepping stone, we will do our best to establish a sustainable shared collaboration platform for local government, university, and company partnerships, enabling us to innovate and grow together by producing industry-academia cooperation outcomes and developing new technologies."
