Uljugun and Ulsan TP Seek to Secure Smart Farm Sales Channels through Public Home Shopping Collaboration

Establishment of a Uljugun-Themed Hall for Regional Specialization

Ulsan Ulju County and Ulsan Technopark (Ulsan TP) announced on the 4th that they will secure an online sales channel in partnership with Gongyeong Home Shopping to promote the consumption of agricultural products produced at the Ulju Smart Farm.

The smart farm specialized cultivation facilities, which Ulju County is distributing to innovate the agricultural sector, produce high-quality agricultural products such as mushrooms, fruit and vegetable crops (strawberries), leafy vegetables, and wasabi by optimizing the growing environment.

Previously, a two-month pilot sale was conducted on Gongyeong Home Shopping last year to promote the sales of Ulju Smart Farm agricultural products, resulting in 5,590 orders and sales of 61.47 million KRW.

In particular, the Songhwa mushroom, one of the representative crops of the Ulju Smart Farm, gained great popularity among consumers for its excellent taste and aroma.

This year as well, Ulju County and Ulsan TP plan to actively promote and sell their products by establishing a regional specialty Ulju County theme section in partnership with Gongyeong Home Shopping, and by utilizing live commerce with show hosts, mobile main pop-ups, and special product planning events.

An official from Ulju County said, "By selling fresh and healthy agricultural products cultivated at the Ulju Smart Farm nationwide through Gongyeong Home Shopping, we expect it will greatly help increase the income of smart farm households."
