'Hwacheon Youth Present the "Autumn Starlight Harmony Concert"'

Concert Featuring Over 300 Youth Symphony Orchestra, Choir, and Pungmul Troupe Members

The autumn starry night in Hwacheon, Gangwon-do is filled with the beautiful music of youth.

Hwacheon-gun, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Choi Moon-soon) announced on the 4th that the '2024 Hwacheon Youth Embroidering Autumn Starlight Harmony Concert' will be held on the 5th at 5:30 PM on a special stage in front of the Hwacheon Community Center.

The Autumn Starlight Harmony Joint Concert features most of the local youth learning music, including the Youth Symphony Orchestra, Boys and Girls Choir, Youth Pungmul Group, students attending visiting music education and after-school music classes, and participants in the Kids Academy.

The concert is expected to evoke nostalgia among the audience with familiar songs for all ages such as 'Cool Tomato,' 'Night Jelly,' 'Neighbor Totoro,' 'Where the Wind Blows,' and 'Beautiful Country.'

The finale of the performance will be a chorus of 'Spring of My Hometown' involving all participating students, Governor Choi Moon-soon, County Council Chairman Ryu Hee-sang, and the audience.

The '2024 Hwacheon Youth Embroidering Autumn Starlight Harmony' concert had already completed the selection and arrangement of pieces last May. Since then, participants have been improving their skills through individual practice and two joint camps.

Governor Choi Moon-soon of Hwacheon said, "The annual autumn concert by Hwacheon youth continues to offer a message of healing and a deep resonance in the hearts of all viewers, including Hwacheon residents."
