PVR Group Applies for Financial Services Innovation with 'MovieStock' at FSC

PVR Group, a blockchain platform development specialist company, announced on the 2nd that it applied for designation as an innovative financial service for the 'K-Content Copyright Token Securities (ST) Business' on the 1st.

Through this application to the Financial Services Commission for innovative financial services, the plan is to tokenize copyrights of K-content such as movies, dramas, and webtoons using blockchain technology and offer new financial products to investors.

PVR Group is currently conducting a pilot operation of the 'MovieStock' platform that distributes these tokens. MovieStock is a blockchain-based copyright trading platform designed to allow investors to directly invest in copyrights of K-content movies, dramas, webtoons, and more.

Along with the participation of Korea Investment Trust, PVR Group has also signed letters of intent for investment with ValueMap, Mibiotech, and Korea Virtual Asset Evaluation.

PVR Group stated, "We will accelerate the globalization of K-content through a copyright management system utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technology and partnerships."
