Sponsorship Began in 2019... Newly Designed Brand Zone Offers Diverse Attractions
Daesun Distilling, the leading liquor company in the southeastern region, will continue its full support for the Busan International Rock Festival, which will be held from the 4th to the 6th at Samnak Ecological Park in Busan.
The Busan International Rock Festival, first launched in 2000, is the longest-running rock music festival in Korea. Last year, it ended successfully with over 30,000 visitors, and this year, with an even stronger lineup, it is expected to attract a record-breaking 60,000 attendees.
This year’s festival features 78 teams of artists from Korea and abroad, led by British rock band Kasabian, Anne-Marie, and Ellegarden.
Daesun Distilling, together with the festival organizing committee, has revamped the Daesun Hidden Island and Daesun Hidden Stage, which were highly popular last year.
This year, Hidden Island will operate as a game paradise, ramen bar, and cocktail bar. The game paradise will offer a variety of activities such as classic arcade machines, punch machines, and hammer machines, providing participants with both familiar and unique entertainment. The ramen bar, as in previous years, will feature a variety of ramen centered around Daeguk Ramen, created in collaboration between Daesun Distilling and Tasty Kitchen. At the Daesun Bar, six types of cocktails and half-bottles of Daesun Distilling wine will be sold by the glass.
At the Daesun Hidden Stage, the artist discovery and development competition "Rookies on the Burak," which drew significant attention last year, and audience participation programs will be held. Rookies on the Burak will feature ten new musician teams who passed the fierce preliminary rounds in August, competing for a total prize of 9 million won and the opportunity to perform overseas. Audience participation programs will include unique events such as "Burak Singing Contest" and "Samnak Game Paradise."

Since 2019, Daesun Distilling has supported the Busan International Rock Festival through an annual sponsorship agreement with the Busan Cultural Tourism Festival Organizing Committee, contributing a total of 1.16 billion won to date. In addition, the company has continuously supported local festivals such as the Busan Fireworks Festival for 19 consecutive years and the Busan Port Festival.
