Chef Lee Yuseok Specially Develops... Tasting Event Held
Unique Fresh Taste of Yuja... Expected to Be Preferred by All Age Groups
Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gong Young-min) announced that a tasting event for ‘Goheung Yuzu Ramen,’ developed by Chef Lee Yoo-seok of Ottogi Co., Ltd., a leading company in Korea's ramen industry, will be held at the Goheung Yuzu Festival.
This tasting event will be an opportunity to showcase ramen made with a special recipe using yuzu, a representative specialty product of Goheung, to many people.

Chef Lee Yoo-seok is Ottogi's master chef who has developed various menus that reinterpret the traditional taste of ramen with a modern sensibility. This time, he participated in the development of a new product using Goheung yuzu as the main ingredient.
‘Goheung Yuzu Ramen,’ which adds the fresh aroma and deep flavor of Goheung yuzu, offers a differentiated taste from existing ramen. The unique fresh taste of yuzu harmonizes well with the broth, attracting expectations that it will be loved by all age groups. Additionally, the first 100 participants in the event will receive daily souvenirs.
A county official stated, “At the Yuzu Festival starting on November 7, we are focusing on widely promoting Goheung’s pride, yuzu, and enhancing the value of Goheung through various products using local specialties,” and added, “We hope many people will feel the charm of Goheung yuzu through the tasting event of yuzu ramen developed by Chef Lee Yoo-seok.”
