6605㎡ Area... Scheduled for Completion in June 2026
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 2nd that it is recruiting an operating institution for the municipal Silver Dream Center until the 18th.
The Silver Dream Center, scheduled to be completed in June 2026 at 1513 Hagil-ri, Hyangnam-eup, is Hwaseong City's first municipal elderly care facility. It will be built with a total floor area of 6,605㎡, spanning from one basement floor to three above-ground floors, with a total capacity of 150 people, including 100 for the elderly care facility and 50 for the daytime care center.

This recruitment of the operating corporation follows the city council's approval of the center's private consignment proposal in May. The city explained that it is promoting early recruitment so that the entrusted institution, which will actually operate the center, can participate in construction progress meetings and provide opinions, enabling efficient center operation.
The entrusted tasks include the management and operation of the elderly care facility and the daytime care center, with a consignment period of five years from the completion date. Social welfare corporations or non-profit corporations with experience in operating elderly care facilities and possessing the necessary business execution capability, financial capacity, credibility, and expertise for entrusted operation are eligible to apply.
Those wishing to apply can download the application form from the announcement board on Hwaseong City's website and submit it in person to the Middle-aged and Elderly Welfare Division at Hwaseong City Hall. The city plans to hold a selection committee meeting in November to select the entrusted institution and conclude the consignment agreement.
Shin Hyun-joo, Director of the Welfare Bureau of Hwaseong City, said, "As the city's first municipal nursing home, we are making every effort for its successful establishment and operation," adding, "We hope capable corporations that can manage and operate the facility professionally and efficiently will show interest and participate."
