Resident Companies, Participating Businesses, and Campus Entrepreneurs Gather... Sharing Startup Achievements and Building Networks
The Pusan National University Small and Medium Business Startup Incubation Center (Director: Kim Songgil, Professor of Mechanical Engineering) held the first ‘PNUnion Day’ event on September 27 at the Ballroom Hall of Grand Josun Hotel Busan to share startup achievements and build networks.
This event was organized as part of the 2024 Specialized Capability BI (Business Incubation Center) Development Support Project, co-hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and KOBIA (Korea Business Incubation Association).
The event brought together companies residing in the startup incubation centers of Pusan National University’s Busan, Yangsan, and Miryang campuses, participating businesses, and on-campus entrepreneurs to build networks and share key achievements in a meaningful gathering.
In particular, successful case studies from resident companies that achieved outstanding results in the startup ecosystem were presented, providing an opportunity to confirm the vision and potential of entrepreneurs and to seek mutually beneficial futures.
A lecture on AI technology under the theme ‘Deep Tech, Deep Science’ also drew attention. The lecture featured in-depth discussions on how AI technology can be applied in real business and how companies can achieve innovation through it.
Kim Songgil, Director of the Pusan National University Small and Medium Business Startup Incubation Center, said, “This event was a valuable opportunity for entrepreneurs to discover new visions and opportunities, and to create even stronger industry-academia cooperation synergies through active exchanges and cooperation between resident companies and entrepreneurs. We will continue to provide ongoing support and collaboration to achieve even greater results.”
