Cumulative Sales Surpass 400,000 Units... Average Daily Sales of 4.1 per Store
New Menu Pepperoni Pizza Launched... October Discount Event Also Planned
GS Retail's convenience store GS25 announced on the 2nd that the number of GoPizza stores it operates surpassed 1,000 earlier this month. This achievement was reached two months ahead of the original target.
Since last year, GS25 has been collaborating with GoPizza, a single-serving pizza brand. They expected synergy effects as GoPizza's competitiveness aligns well with the convenience store customer base. Starting operations of GoPizza stores in May, the number has expanded to 1,000 stores as of early this month.

Sales performance has also been solid. On average, 4.1 pizzas are sold per GoPizza store daily, with cumulative sales exceeding 400,000 units. Notably, about 30% of total sales are made through delivery and pickup services.
GS25 plans to expand the number of GoPizza stores to 1,500 by the second half of this year. Along with this, they are promoting the advancement of GoPizza by expanding products such as half-size and 2 in 1 pizzas and side menus, strengthening O4O (Online for Offline) connections through delivery and pickup exclusive promotions, and improving operational efficiency by introducing pre-cut ingredients.
To celebrate the milestone of 1,000 GoPizza stores and the October outing season, GS25 newly introduced a pepperoni pizza. Alongside the existing meat cheese pizza, triple cheese pizza, and potato & bacon pizza, GS25 is running a promotion throughout October offering a 51% discount on all GoPizza menu items when paying with Woori Card.
Lee In-gyu, GS25 Store Improvement Part Manager, said, "The GoPizza stores, launched to secure differentiated food competitiveness, have achieved a visible milestone of 1,000 stores in about five months. Going forward, we will continue to develop GoPizza as a new growth category by expanding products and strengthening O4O connections while advancing GoPizza."
Meanwhile, in the era of high inflation, sales of frozen pizzas with excellent price-performance are also rapidly growing. GS25's frozen pizza sales growth rates compared to the previous year are 13.5% in 2022, 32.9% in 2023, and 27.2% up to September 2024. In response, GS25 plans to expand its current lineup of seven 7-inch frozen pizzas to more than ten by the first half of next year, including launching a topping-enhanced Netflix frozen pizza.
